The nearest train station in Matlock is a single bus trip or 15 minute taxi ride to the studio and has direct lines to Derby and Nottingham.

Wirksworth - 5 mins
Stylish and popular one bed ground floor apartment with quirky decor from renowned designers and heaps of original features, plus a luxurious bathroom and cute courtyard.
Matlock - 15 mins
Great value and convenient - clients often mention how comfy the beds are too! Being walking distance from the lovely cafes, shops, restaurants and bars in Matlock makes it a great base for your stay.
Wirksworth - 2 mins
This cute two bedroom cottage is just a few doors up the road from us - in fact you can see the studio from it’s front door! With a wood burning stove and comfy sofa, it’s a lovely place to curl up after your photoshoot.

Our local pub now has three newly renovated en-suite bedrooms for you to stay above, two of which are dog-friendly. The pub itself has a classic pub menu and cosy open fires in winter.

A grade II listed Georgian two bed townhouse full of period features and modern touches. Great for a family with a kitchen-diner and bunkbeds, plus a cosy snug to relax in.
Stonedge - 25mins
Perfect for foodies with a double AA rosette awarded restaurant, this 4 star boutique hotel mixes modern luxury with country styling, and some rooms are dog-friendly too.
Crich - 12 mins
A dog-friendly cosy two bed cottage in a cute nearby village. It’s recently been redecorated in a modern country style and features a ‘log burner’ style gas fire for chilly evenings.
Shottle - 20mins
This family run luxury B&B is based on a working Chatsworth farm with a Georgian farmhouse and cosy self catering cottages. Their double jacuzzi baths and hot tubs are perfect for relaxing after your photoshoot.
